12 hours until I’m at the airport. I’m almost done packing, but I still feel like I have a million things to do. For instance: I forgot that I need rain gear of some sort. England = rain. Do I get up early to shop tomorrow morning? (I can see my mom making her “I don’t think you should, but do whatever you want” face.) There are some nice, cheap ones at the mall…
This is my “Montana boots”, the thing that you concentrate all your energy on before a big event so that you don’t think about everything else. It’s a family saying. With graduation, it was a dress and shoes. With this trip, apparently, it’s a rain jacket. So maybe I will go shopping tomorrow. I was eyeing the jackets anyway.
